Ms. Siegel is now the full-time Education/Outreach Coordinator for Quest. She is currently heading up the TheatreBridge project. TheatreBridge is a grant given to Quest by the US Department of Education to do a research project with the Maryland School for the Deaf over the next four years. She is also a member of the Wings Company and has performed in several of Quest shows, including, “Road Signs”, ”Alice”, “I Carry the Flag”, “Nano” and “Mosaic”. She has traveled with Quest to Hong Kong, Idaho, Florida, and California. She has been with the company for four and a half years.
Last year she understudied the lead role in The Kennedy Center Theatre for Young Audiences tour of “Nobody’s Perfect”. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She spent two years traveling locally with Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Programs teaching children about peer pressure. She has performed in “Evita” and “Story Theatre” with Open Circle Theatre. She recently performed in “Playing from the Heart” at Imagination Stage, where she played the world-famous, deaf percussionist, Evelyn Glennie. She was last seen as Sarah Norman Leeds in “Children of A Lesser God” at the Barksdale Theatre, in Richmond, Virginia. This performance earned her a Best Actress Nomination from the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle.
